This could be due, in part, to the pump on the bottle in that bathroom always getting stuck...Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08213514826661790158noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-264294700715447531.post-22237299739348864252014-02-14T12:13:44.639-08:002014-02-14T12:13:44.639-08:00A reader who had trouble commenting emailed me thi...A reader who had trouble commenting emailed me this:<br />If you want to make bar soap to liquis soap grate it and boil it in distilled water until it disolve stir and bottle. To make bar soap last longer unwrap it when you get home and store it somewhere warm until you need it, this hardens the soap and makes it last longer. This is a WW2 tip used by my Granny and it works.Betsy Escandonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13598482569526345086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-264294700715447531.post-75181783547769487452014-02-14T11:57:27.182-08:002014-02-14T11:57:27.182-08:00We talked about it when I was on your radio show!

My completely unscientific observation is that it's very easy to find a bar with easily recognizable ingredients, but hard to find a liquid soap with easy-to-pronounce ingredients even in the natural soap category. I think it's just difficult to make a stable liquid that doesn't go "bad" (moldy, infected with bacteria, etc.). Also, there are so many lovely bars out now ... natural bars that are beautiful, smell good and don't hurt the environment (or us).Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18323775808390175925noreply@blogger.com
